How can you use climate change to enhance your business?

Find out about reducing your impact on the climate, adapting to climate change and how to offset your carbon footprint.

The UK is committed to the Kyoto Protocol, an international agreement which aims to limit greenhouse gas emissions and reduce climate change. There are a number of initiatives to encourage businesses to use fossil fuels more efficiently and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. These initiatives are:

Climate change levy (CCL);
Climate change agreements;
Enhanced capital allowances;
Emissions trading scheme.

Even if you are not affected by these initiatives, there are things that you can do to reduce your business's impact on the climate; small changes in the way you operate can help to make a difference.
